YAG Laser Course – Glaucoma Laser (1-Day Training)

Eligibility: Doctors (Foundation to ST1-4), Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Orthoptists, and Optometrists with an interest in glaucoma management.

Course Overview

This one-day course provides a detailed understanding and hands-on training in YAG laser applications for glaucoma, including Peripheral Iridotomy (PI) and Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT).

Key Learning Areas

• YAG PI & SLT Techniques – Patient selection, risk assessment, and treatment planning.

• Understanding Glaucoma Management – Differentiating AACG vs NAG, POAG, PXF, and Plateau Iris.

• Hands-On Practical Simulation – Guided training on YAG PI and SLT laser procedures with expert supervision.

• Certificate of Attendance with Royal College of Ophthalmologists accredited CPD points.
